Zoogma made their return to the Fox Theater with another helping of lively funk and irresistible dance tunes last weekend. The crowd was swept up in a reverberating undertow of layered beats and sexy synth melodies, all accompanied by the unmatchable energy of improvized live instrumentation. They gave a heartfelt performance that... more

(Words by Hannah Piccola) Oh, The Fillmore Auditorium in Denver. On this very chilly evening I walked into the spacious venue and enjoyed the scenery: there were a few people wandering around the small bars and colorful mercy tables that were outlining the large wooden dance floor that stretched far in... more

(Article by Sarka Rybar) With the popularity of trap music growing like wildfire, it was time for me to check out a real trap producer live. To me, the coolest thing about trap shows lately is the excitement in the air, the blending of genres to create something new and exciting... more

~(Words by Zach Schwartz)~ "If there’s one thing that won’t keep us Coloradans pent up at home it’s a little bit of bad weather, especially when there’s live music involved. I still had to stifle my surprise though when I arrived at Boulder’s Fox Theater last Friday amidst a light cascade of snow and... more

As an avid concert goer, I usually have a hard time picking between shows when more than one artist comes into town on the same night. Between Adventure Club, who I caught at Global this summer, and Vaski, who I hadn’t seen since last summer, the choice was obvious. Vaski... more

Big Huge Monstrously Gargantuan. That is how I will see Big Gigantic after Rowdytown on Saturday. Their quasi-festival Red Rocks headlining debut seems to mark the beginning of a new age for the Boulder-based duo filled with incredible production and rowdy die-hard fandom. As a close friend of mine put... more

BoomBox shows are always a good time, their most recent run through Colorado likely being the best example yet. We sent Hunter Kopp, photographer and friend of LMB CO to their Boulder theater show earlier this month. 'BoomBox's epic return to Colorado with DJ Ramona was a doozie. The Boulder... more

I've been to a lot of shows this summer. Something like five full-on festivals, fifteen nights at Red Rocks, an arena show here and there and a small handful of concerts at local, smaller theaters. Out of all those shows, none have stuck with me like Florence has. It could... more
